Limón's tourism runs on cruise calls, and the operators here sell the day out from the dock: the Tortuguero canals, Cahuita's national park, banana plantations and the sloth sanctuary.
Arriving overland, the same circuit is worth buying for the transport alone — the sights are spread over sixty kilometres of coast with no practical bus between them.
