Selvatura, near the Santa Elena reserve, is one of the biggest of the Monteverde adventure operations. It runs a 3-kilometre loop of suspension bridges that lets you walk through the canopy at its own level, eye to eye with epiphytes and bromeliads.
The zipline circuit — 13 cables strung between platforms across deep ravines, plus a "Superman"-position line and a tarzan swing — is one of the more thrilling in the area and well-maintained. The park also has a hummingbird garden, a butterfly garden, and a small herpetarium. Skip the dolphin-style "extras" and stick to the bridges and the zipline; both are worth doing.
