Getting Around

The town is small enough to walk, though the heat makes short distances feel longer. Taxis and 4WD transfers handle trailheads, lodges, and Corcovado approaches; book early in dry season.

Roads on the Osa can be rough, flooded, or simply slow. If you rent a car, choose high clearance and ask locally before attempting remote tracks after heavy rain.
