Puerto Jiménez is the other way into Corcovado — the overland side rather than the boat side, with the La Leona and Los Patos entrances reached by road and then on foot.
It is the harder, quieter approach, and it needs a certified guide like every other part of the park. Operators in town also run the Golfo Dulce for dolphins and the mangroves at Rincón.
