Miches is a fishing town and the best food is fish and seafood. The restaurants along the waterfront are simple, family-run places serving fried snapper, grilled lobster (when available), and the standard Dominican plate of rice, red beans, and salad. Prices are very low by any standard.
The town market has comedor-style kitchens serving a lunch plate for a few dollars. For anything more elaborate, you'd need to drive toward the resort areas near Punta Cana. The Hotel La Cueva near Playa Limón has a restaurant that serves meals to non-guests.
