Ahí Bar is one of the dependable spots on the Avenida Estrella Sadhalá strip, where Santiago's nightlife concentrates. The room is small and the music — mostly bachata and merengue, with the occasional reggaeton block — is loud. By midnight on a weekend the dance floor spills out toward the bar.
Drinks are cheap, the crowd is local rather than tourist, and a willingness to dance is rewarded. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
