☰Rival Beach

Rival Beach sits just outside Cap-Haïtien, closer and easier to reach than the famous Labadie beach to the north. It's a straightforward strip of sand where locals and visitors mix, with equipment rental for snorkelling and water sports. The water is calm and clear. It won't have the dramatic backdrop of more remote Haitian beaches, but for a quick half-day at the sea without a long drive, it does the job well.
