Cabo Wabo, the bar and restaurant founded by Sammy Hagar of Van Halen fame, is the most famous name in town — a rock-and-roll institution with its own tequila brand and a clientele that skews older than the strip bars nearby. For something quieter, the restaurants along the Marina Boulevard have outdoor seating with views of the boats and a more relaxed pace in the evenings.
