Ciudad Obregón has its own airport — General Ignacio Pesqueira García Airport (IATA: CEN) — with daily flights to Mexico City, Guadalajara, Tijuana, and Hermosillo on Aeroméxico and Volaris. The airport is small and practical, about 8 kilometres from the city centre.
By bus, the city is served by frequent long-distance coaches from Hermosillo (about 2.5 hours), Los Mochis (2 hours), and Mazatlán (5 hours). The main bus terminal is on the southern edge of the city. Highway 15 connects northward to Hermosillo and eventually to the US border, and southward through Sinaloa.
