Hermosillo has some of the best beef in Mexico, and eating here is a genuine pleasure. Sonoran cuisine revolves around carne asada — beef grilled over mesquite — served with thick flour tortillas (a Sonoran speciality), frijoles, salsa, and cold beer. The city also has excellent seafood from the Gulf of California.
