Tortugranja is a small sea turtle conservation facility on the island's eastern coast, created to protect turtle eggs from poaching and help rebuild the population. It consists of a small aquarium building housing the youngest turtles, circular outdoor pools with turtles at various stages of growth, and a fenced area of sand for incubating eggs. It is small — more like a large pet store than an aquarium — but genuinely worthwhile if you care about turtles. Open approximately 9am–5pm; small admission fee.
