Parque Sinaloa is the main public park of Los Mochis, a broad green space in the north of the city with mature trees, a small lake, and the kind of quiet that is otherwise in short supply in this busy agricultural city. Families gather on weekend mornings; children feed ducks in the lake; vendors sell elotes and aguas frescas from carts along the paths.
The park is large enough for a proper walk and gives a sense of how Los Mochis functions as a real city rather than just a railway junction. The northern neighbourhoods around the park have some of the city's better restaurants and shops, and the park makes a pleasant waypoint between hotel, station, and bus terminal.
