Roma's slightly leafier neighbour, built around two oval parks (Parque México and Parque España) on the racetrack of a former hippodrome. Streets curve gently, jacarandas line the pavements, and the cafés spill onto the sidewalks. The eating and drinking is as good as Roma's, with a slightly more laid-back, residential feel. The two neighbourhoods blur together and are best explored on foot.
