Getting There

Saltillo has a small international airport (SLW), with direct flights to Mexico City, Monterrey, and a few US destinations. Most travellers arrive by bus: Saltillo is well connected to Monterrey (90 minutes), Monterrey to Mexico City (12 hours), and to the US border crossing at Piedras Negras or Laredo. The main bus terminal is on the south side of the city and served by several long-distance lines including Omnibus de Mexico and Noreste.

By road, Saltillo sits on the intersection of Highways 40 and 57, making it accessible from Monterrey to the northeast, Mexico City to the south, and the US border via Piedras Negras to the north.
