The Vito Alessio Cultural Center is a small museum near Saltillo Cathedral, useful for travellers who want more than the main square and cathedral. Its strongest draw is a set of murals telling Coahuila's history, which gives the visit more substance than the building's modest size suggests.
Admission is usually free, so it is an easy add-on while walking the historic centre. Allow a short visit unless there is a temporary exhibition on.
