Located in the central Mexico, close to the big cities like Santiago de Queretaro and Celaya, this city has a lot to offer and while traveling there no tourists should skip exploring restaurants. This city is cozy, welcoming and people always feel like home. Sightseeing will take few days but people spend more time in restaurant exploring.
Restaurant Mama Mia
Restaurant is located just next to the Jardin and has a beautiful terrace where you can have your dinner, drinks or just come and dance. People from San Miguel always tell to the travelers that this is the best restaurant in the city, even if they don’t serve Mexican food. The prices are reasonable and pastas and pizzas are definitely made Italian way.
Café de la Parroquya
This is excellent breakfast place but tourists can always drop by for lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is amazing and people always feel relaxed here. Nobody complained to the service and the food got the highest marks. This restaurant is away from the tourists traps and maybe you will need 10 minutes of walking to get there from the city center but it is worth the walk. In the evening this becomes more like French Brasserie and for 10$ you can have the whole meal. So everything is set to its place, food, prices and amazing ambience.
Restaurant Dila´s
Would you like to try Sri Lankan food in Mexico? Yes they got it. This is one of the best Asian restaurants in Mexico. The food is always fresh, nicely prepared, smells absolutely delicious and taste is just the same. The owner who is also a chef is from Sri Lanka and he is always smiling. The prices are one third less than in city center so tourists can always save some money or just leave a good tip for the perfectly nice waiters.
El Correo
El Correo is the perfect place to have a breakfast, the real Mexican one. They serve chilaquiles, huevos rancheros and Burritos are also available and they serve great lunch here too. The place is completely Mexican and people enjoy having chat with waiters, they have excellent sense of humor. The food here is traditionally spicy but tourists intend to take less spicy food and waiters are always informing people about it. That means that this is absolutely safe place to eat.
