Plaza de Armas is the formal heart of Zacatecas, framed by the cathedral, government buildings, and old stone façades. It is not large, but it concentrates the city's ceremonial side into one handsome space.
Use it as a navigation point as much as a sight. From here you can step to the cathedral, climb toward Santo Domingo, or follow the lanes toward the museums and market.
