International airport
FD Roosevelt (EUX) 1km (0.6 miles) from Oranjestad is served by daily scheduled flights from St Kitts & Nevis from St Maarten four times daily (flight time 30 minutes) and from Saba. The runway is too small for international jets.

Sea
A 900m-long (3000ft) deep-water pier at Oranjestad can accommodate ocean liners. Small boats operate to the other islands in the Leeward Group; the 21km (13-mile) trip to Saba takes about two hours.
