Tren Urbano. The easiest way to reach Bayamón from San Juan is by the Tren Urbano metro, which has its western terminus at Bayamón station — a 30-minute ride from Sagrado Corazón in Santurce. From there, the historic centre is a 10-minute walk south. Stations also serve the Coliseo Rubén Rodríguez (Deportivo) and points further along the line.
By car. PR-22 (Expreso José de Diego) is the main highway connecting Bayamón to San Juan; the drive takes 25 to 40 minutes depending on traffic, which can be heavy at rush hour.
By bus. AMA buses run from San Juan to Bayamón but are slow and unreliable; the Tren Urbano is usually a better choice.
