Bayamón is more of a working metropolitan suburb than a tourist destination, but the historic plaza, the Parque de las Ciencias, and the cluster of small museums around the old town centre add up to a worthwhile half-day if you're staying in San Juan. The Tren Urbano makes a car-free visit easy.
