Nightlife on St. Kitts clusters along the Frigate Bay "Strip" on the Atlantic side of the southeast peninsula; daytime drinking happens at the beach bars of South Friars and Cockleshell Bay. Basseterre itself is quiet after dark except for a couple of hotel bars near the cruise port.
