Getting There

The most common way to reach Bequia is by ferry from Kingstown, the capital of St. Vincent. The crossing takes about an hour, and ferries run several times a day. The Admiralty Transport and Grenadines Ferry services are the main operators; the schedule is more frequent on weekday mornings and less so in the afternoons. The boat docks right in Port Elizabeth at the Bequia Ferry Terminal.

There is also J.F. Mitchell Airport on the southwest tip of the island, with short runway connections to neighbouring islands including St. Vincent, Barbados, and other Grenadines. This is useful if you are island-hopping by small plane. Charter flights can also be arranged. Yachts arriving under their own power should check in at the Port Elizabeth customs office.
