Mustique Airport (IATA: MQS) sits at the island's northern end and accepts small prop aircraft only — the runway cannot accommodate private jets, which is a deliberate feature rather than an oversight. Scheduled flights operate from Barbados and St Lucia, taking around 40 minutes. SVG Air and Mustique Airways are the main carriers; the Mustique Company can help arrange charters if needed.
From St Vincent, the M/V Endeavour ferry makes the crossing to Mustique a few times a week. The journey takes several hours and is not for the seasick — the Grenadines passage can be rough. Many visitors arriving by private yacht check in at the customs dock in Britannia Bay.
Day visitors are officially permitted but the island discourages them politely — there is no public beach access infrastructure, and arriving without a reservation tends to result in a quick turnaround. Book accommodation before you arrive.
