There is no scheduled transport to East Caicos. A private boat charter from South Caicos — the closest inhabited island, about 10km to the west — is the only option. Day trips are feasible in calm weather; camping with advance permission from the Turks and Caicos government is possible for those wanting longer.
Bring everything you need. Water, food, first aid, sun protection, insect repellent — there is nothing on the island and no one to help if something goes wrong. Mobile coverage is unreliable. The boat charter operators in South Caicos know the waters and can advise on conditions and landing spots.
