JAGS McCartney International Airport (GDT) sits a kilometre south of Cockburn Town. Most flights are inter-island connections from Providenciales (PLS), a 30-minute hop on InterCaribbean or Caicos Express; PLS is the main international gateway for the Turks and Caicos.
The other route in is by cruise ship — the Grand Turk Cruise Center on the southwest corner of the island handles up to two large ships at a time. From the cruise pier, town is a short taxi ride north.
Inter-island ferries are infrequent and best avoided unless you have time to spare.
