Getting There

By air. South Caicos is served by the small Norman B. Saunders Sr. International Airport (XSC) at the north end of the island. InterCaribbean operates daily flights from Providenciales (around 20 minutes) and occasional services to Grand Turk and Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic. Larger islands like Provo handle international flights — most visitors connect through there.

By boat. There is no scheduled passenger ferry to South Caicos. Inter-island travel between South and the other inhabited islands is by chartered boat only.

The island has no taxi rank; rental cars and bicycles can be arranged through the small resorts, and most visitors get around on foot or by the lift offered by their hotel.
