The National Infantry Museum, just across the river near Fort Moore, follows the American infantry from the colonial period to modern deployments. Its galleries are large, polished, and heavy on uniforms, weapons, vehicles, personal stories, and military art.
It is one of the main visitor stops in the Columbus-Phenix City area, especially if you are interested in military history or travelling with someone connected to the base.
