Phenix City's sights are split between its colourful Sin City past — Albert Patterson's law office, the old gambling districts — and the modern riverfront it has built since. The Chattahoochee whitewater course on the Phenix City side is genuinely world-class. Most evenings and meals end across the river in Columbus, Georgia.
