The most consistent restaurant in central Anchorage and the place to send people who want one good Alaska meal. A wood-fired grill turns out king salmon, halibut, scallops, and ribs; the brewery side of the operation produces a steady house IPA and a rotating cast of seasonals. The dining room has a great bell-shaped chimney down the middle and a wood-and-stone interior that feels Alaskan without being kitschy.
Lunch is much easier to get into than dinner; in summer book ahead or be prepared to wait at the bar. The brewery tour is free and runs by appointment.
