Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport offers national and international flights and is one of the busiest airports in the country. It sits just three miles southeast of downtown and is well connected by light rail, shuttle services, and taxis.
By car, Phoenix sits on Interstate 10, the major east-west highway. Free parking abounds almost everywhere except downtown, and even there you can find it with a little effort.
Amtrak no longer serves Phoenix directly. The nearest stations are in Maricopa, about 25 minutes south, and Flagstaff to the north, with connecting bus service to the city.
