An adobe restaurant on Brown Avenue in the old Scottsdale grid, with a shaded courtyard under cottonwoods that is one of the most pleasant evening spots in town. The kitchen makes its own corn and flour tortillas in-house and uses them as the base for everything from blue-corn enchiladas to filet mignon tacos. The signature stuffed chicken with prickly pear glaze is a long-running staple.
Margaritas come with the full Arizona treatment — prickly pear, jalapeño, blood orange. Reasonable prices for the location and the level. Reservations recommended at weekends.
