Yuma International Airport (YUM) is served by American Airlines and United with connections through Phoenix and Los Angeles. From Phoenix, it's about a three-hour drive west on I-8 through the Sonoran Desert. From San Diego, it's about two and a half hours east on I-8. Greyhound connects Yuma to both cities by bus.
From Mexico, the Los Algodones border crossing just west of town is one of the busiest pedestrian crossings on the US-Mexico border.
