Quapaw Baths & Spa

Modernised thermal bathhouse with four communal soaking pools

One of two bathhouses still operating on Bathhouse Row. Quapaw was restored and reopened in 2008 as a public spa rather than a private bath suite — the four communal mineral pools are kept at staggered temperatures from a comfortable 35°C up to a punishing 40°C. The Spanish tile dome over the lobby dates to the 1922 original.

This is the easy choice for visitors who want to soak in the thermal water without committing to the traditional ritual at Buckstaff. Walk-ins are usually possible, swimsuits are required, and you can also book private tubs and massages. A small cafe and an excellent steam cave round out the visit.
