A long-running American diner-and-bar at the south end of Palm Canyon Drive, doing what it has done since 1972: burgers, steaks, salads, ribs, and a wood-panelled bar with cold beer. The patio out the back has heaters for cool desert nights.
Nothing about it is going to surprise you, which after a day in the canyons is exactly what you want. Open for lunch and dinner; busy on weekends in season.
