The Public House on Old Town Front Street is one of the few Temecula bars that takes its craft beer programme as seriously as its kitchen. About thirty taps, biased toward Southern California breweries — Stone, Modern Times, Pizza Port, plus a steady rotation of guest IPAs.
The food is gastropub by way of Wisconsin: cheese curds, smashburgers, beer-battered fish. Good live music several nights a week; the patio fills first.
