Refuge Brewery, founded in 2012, is the local craft-beer success story. The taproom in an industrial park north of Old Town has fifteen or twenty house beers — they specialise in Belgian-style ales, fruited sours, and a barrel-ageing programme — plus a rotating food truck out front most evenings.
Easy to combine with a winery day if you have a designated driver. Most beer is sold to-go; pour sizes in the taproom are honest.
