Getting There

Healdsburg is about 110 km north of San Francisco, roughly a 90-minute drive via US-101 in light traffic. From San Francisco, take 101 north past Santa Rosa and exit at Central Healdsburg Avenue. The drive through Sonoma County on 101 is scenic enough — rolling hills, vineyards visible from the freeway from Petaluma north.

The nearest commercial airport is Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa, about 25 km south, with direct flights to Los Angeles, Seattle, Phoenix, and a handful of other West Coast cities. San Francisco International (SFO) and Oakland (OAK) are the more practical choices for connections.

There is no useful public transport to Healdsburg. A car is effectively required.
