Willow Glen is one of San Jose's more walkable neighbourhoods, centred on Lincoln Avenue's cafes, restaurants and independent shops. The surrounding streets have older houses, tree cover and a slower rhythm than the office parks and wide arterials that dominate much of Silicon Valley.
It is not a conventional attraction, but it is useful for travellers who want a pleasant local evening. Come for dinner, coffee or a low-key wander, especially if downtown San Jose feels too businesslike.
