A lakefront dining room with one of the best sunset views in Tahoe City, Christy Hill has been the special-occasion restaurant on the north shore for over 40 years. The menu is contemporary American with strong seafood: pan-seared scallops, ahi tuna, and the local Lahontan cutthroat trout when available.
Sit on the patio in summer for the view across the bay; book the corner table inside in winter. Service is friendly without being formal, which fits the mountain-town atmosphere.
