Willows sits directly on Interstate 5, about 90 minutes north of Sacramento and 90 minutes south of Redding. Exit for downtown Willows to reach the town centre, or take the signed exit south of town for the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge. Greyhound buses stop here, connecting Willows to the broader California highway network. There is no Amtrak station in Willows; the nearest train stops are at Williams to the south or Sacramento.
