Winter Park's restaurant scene is compact but has improved considerably in recent years. The base village at the resort has a cluster of options ranging from ski-boot-friendly cafeteria fare to sit-down restaurants. The main strip of Highway 40 through town has a range of casual restaurants, brewpubs, and burger places. Don't expect the dining scene of Aspen or Vail — this is a working ski town and the food reflects that.
