Getting There

Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is 30 minutes north by car and is the obvious entry point for most international visitors. SEPTA commuter trains and the Amtrak Wilmington station both connect downtown directly to PHL via the Northeast Corridor. Baltimore (BWI) is an hour south.

Wilmington sits on the Northeast Corridor and has frequent Amtrak service to Philadelphia (20 minutes), New York (90 minutes), Washington DC (90 minutes), and Boston (5 hours). The Wilmington station, the second busiest on the corridor, is a Frank Furness Gothic landmark in its own right.

By car, I-95 runs through the city and connects Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington in a single chain.
