Crystal River's bar scene is small and unpretentious — a few waterfront tiki bars and local dives rather than anything resembling a nightlife district. Coffee options are limited; most visitors start the day at their accommodation or stop at one of the fast-food outlets on US-19 before a morning manatee tour. The tiki bars clustered around the boat ramps and marinas are the most characterful places to drink, especially at sunset when the fishing boats come in.
