Crystal River is about 90 miles north of Tampa on US-19, a 90-minute drive. There is no intercity bus service and no train connection — a car is essential. The nearest airport with regular flights is Tampa International (TPA), from which you can rent a car and drive straight up US-19 through Homosassa. For those flying into Orlando, it's about two hours west via SR-44.
