The Cellar is the closest thing downtown Daytona has to fine dining. The restaurant occupies the former winter home of US President Warren G. Harding, an 1907 wood-frame house a block back from the river, with intimate small dining rooms and a brick-walled wine cellar still used for storage.
The kitchen turns out Northern Italian dishes — homemade pastas, osso buco, veal piccata — at prices reasonable for the quality. The wine list is strong on Italian reds. Open for dinner only, and reservations are recommended.
