Eating Out

Daytona Beach's dining is dominated by seafood and beach bars. The best fish — particularly grouper, mahi-mahi, and shrimp — comes off the Ponce Inlet docks at the south end of town, where a cluster of restaurants share a marina. In the city itself, expect a mix of family chains along the boardwalk, surviving old-school diners, and a small number of more ambitious independents on Beach Street and Seabreeze Boulevard.
