Caffe Luna Rosa

A long-running Italian on A1A across from the beach, serving from breakfast through dinner and consistently rated as one of Delray's better restaurants. The pastas are the strong point — house-made and reliably good — and the brunch is a Sunday institution, with eggs benedict variations and big Bloody Marys served on the open-front patio.

Reservations essential at weekends in season. Expect to pay $40-60 per head at dinner. Linger at the patio with a coffee in the morning; it's one of the better people-watching spots in town.
