Jupiter is in northern Palm Beach County, about 130 km north of Miami and 20 km north of West Palm Beach. The nearest major airport is Palm Beach International (PBI), about 30 km south; Miami International (MIA) and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood (FLL) are larger hubs further south, each about 1.5 to 2 hours by car.
There is no regular train or bus service to Jupiter itself. A car is essentially required. From Palm Beach International, take I-95 north or US 1 north; from the Florida Turnpike, exit at Indiantown Road. The town is spread out along the coast and inland along the Loxahatchee River, and most attractions require driving between them.
