The old city has plenty of bars aimed at day-tripping tourists, but the best drinking is just outside the historic district. The St. Augustine Distillery and its attached Ice Plant bar are the clear standouts. The city also has a small but genuine craft beer scene, with local breweries including Ponce de Leon Brewing and St. Augustine's Ancient City Brewing both open for tastings.
