The active lighthouse on Anastasia Island, across the Bridge of Lions from the old city. The 165-foot iron tower dates to 1874; 219 steps lead to the top with panoramic views over the inlet and the old city. The keeper's house has been restored as a maritime museum. The adjacent Alligator Farm is cheesy but entertaining for first-time alligator-watchers.
